Casa Mellow is for homes that look lived in, tables that actually get used, clothes worth wearing on repeat and places worth leaving the house for.
We like colour. Good lighting. Slightly unnecessary purchases. Dinner on a Tuesday. Hotels we can’t stop thinking about. Chairs that don’t match. Things found second-hand And homes that tell you something about the people who live there.
We don’t believe everything needs to be beige, perfect or particularly serious.
Actually, we’d prefer it wasn’t.
SO, WHAT IS CASA MELLOW
Think of it as the place where all the good tabs stay open.
CASA is about homes with personality. The beautiful ones, the weird ones, the colourful ones and the rentals that deserve better.
THE EDIT is everything worth buying, saving or thinking about for an unreasonable amount of time.
THE TABLE is food, hosting, nice plates and a very strong argument for having people over on a Tuesday.
LIFE is everything else. Travel, getting dressed, living abroad, your twenties and all the things that don’t fit neatly into a category.
In other words:
Interiors, things worth buying, places worth going and excuses to set the table.
A HOME SHOULD BE FUN.
Somewhere along the way, good taste got very serious.
Everything had to match.
Everything had to be timeless.
Everything had to be beige.
We disagree.
Buy the weird lamp.
Hang the print you can’t stop thinking about.
Mix the glasses.
Paint something red.
Use the nice plates when you’re eating pasta on the sofa.
A home shouldn’t look like you finished decorating it in one afternoon. It should slowly become a collection of places you’ve been, things you love and decisions that made absolutely no sense to anyone but you.
More personality, please. Your house can handle it.

Hi, I’m Ilja.
Casa Mellow started somewhere between too many saved interiors, too many open shopping tabs and a growing suspicion that the nicest parts of life are usually the ones we don’t take too seriously.
I love beautiful homes, travelling, long dinners, finding things I definitely wasn’t looking for and making ordinary days feel a little less ordinary.
And after saving, screenshotting and sending all those things for years, I wanted somewhere to put them.
So I made one.
Casa Mellow is my collection of homes, objects, food, places and thoughts worth sharing.
